Advanced Pastoral Programs
The Professional Pastors Programs are written to help experienced pastors improve their skills. They can be compared to a DMin program at some traditional seminaries. The Pastor's Professional Program: Book Model requires reading a number of books. Some of these may be available in libraries. The rest can be purchased from book stores or from a wide number of online vendors. It is designed to bring a new focus and inspiration to a ministry. 300 Level Courses\PASTOR PROFESSIONAL - ALL COURSE WORK.pdf The Pastor's Professional Program: Research Model requires reading some books that may be found in a library or purchased. However, its focus is on research conducted at other seminaries. It stresses masters theses and doctoral dissertations which can be purchased from the Theological Research Exchange Network. The program then asks a pastor to conduct a research project in his own congregation about a subject that touches the life of his church. |
