The Creation Wars tries to look honestly at the evidence for both young earth and old earth positions. Today about half of the conservative Evangelical world defends young earth views and half defends old earth models. Blessings and peace be on you which ever option you choose. From both perspectives, it is important to understand why some conservative Evangelicals disagree. Without that understanding, the church tends to be divided into a young earth faction that views with suspicion the faith of the rest and an old earth faction that views with suspicion the academic competence of the rest. There are quite good reasons why so many people choose a young earth model and who so many others choose an old earth model. The unity of the church can only be preserved by understanding the evidential cases made by both sides in the debate. This book is not currently available in printed form.
